These paintings develop their own language of form and harmony, which evoke the impression by the observer to recognize everyday occurrences. The actual well known world seems like split and newly pieced together. And as a matter of fact these forms are familiar to the human eye. Everybody sees or recognizes what is personally important to him. Surprised one recognizes that the human body can indeed be defined and expressed by sinus curves and cubes and you discover at the same time the beauty* which hides behind the pattern of nature and art. Time and time again the observer discovers repeated basic structures and realizes that everything in nature seems to be related or at least follows the same structural principles; that here proportions reign which harmony is based on the connection of complementary opposites.

These paintings are continued in “artifacts”. These also invite the observer to an expedition to look for the hidden. The pieces of wood deformed and aged by weather exude a morbid charm. Mystic creatures which allow manifold interpretations and can be understood in a unique way by each individual. Partially painted and coloured in the same technique they lift these forms from paintings into a three-dimensional room and therewith elevate them to an extended level.
In these boundaries the infinite shows itself. Here, we feel the boundaries do not inevitable have to be restrictive but can be about incredibly attraction.
