The theme of the exhibition is: side notes
Then let’s start with side notes.
… now in this year his art experienced a modification under the motto “a photo is a painting”. CAP - computer aided painting he calls his current works. Collage and computer-manipulated photography acquire through the connective painting an absolute new, captivating form of expression. A form of expression which does not look for objectivity in the main theme “human being and environment”. Although or maybe because they do not give an analyzing clue of his way of working and living, they do contain everything which is necessary for a complete understanding of his creative and personal understanding of the world…. What I especially appreciate in his works is the conception of art as a looking dialogue. In this the artist and the spectator find themselves in an adventure which leads to nonverbal depths. The artist is the one to reveal, to point out but who also never grasps it all.
The artist probably has no idols. It seems he walks up to the unknown. No future clouds his sight: the present becomes transparent…
